About Queensland Collaborative Law
Queensland Collaborative Law was founded by Kate Keating, Cassandra Pullos and Suzanne Harrison, three accredited family law specialists working on the Gold Coast. All three of these lawyers undertook training in the United States with Pauline Tesler, the author of a number of significant texts on collaborative law and the co-founder of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals.
Queensland Collaborative Law has been established to promote collaborative Tesler law and to support and train lawyers in its practice.
Queensland Collaborative Law adopts the standards for collaborative practitioners as set out by the peak international body for collaborative law; the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals (IACP). The founding members are all members of IACP, and the Australian
National Council of Collaborative Lawyers
and we adopt and subscribe to their standards, mission, vision and values, which are as follows:

IACP serves members, influences the collaborative community, and benefits the public. We are committed to fostering professional excellence in conflict resolution through Collaborative Practice. We do this by protecting the essentials of Collaborative Practice, expanding Collaborative Practice worldwide, and providing a central resource for education, networking and standards of practice.
